SITECH Chesapeake, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carter Machinery Company, Inc., is hiring is hiring SITECH Service Advisor in Richmond, Virginia. The SITECH Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with internal and external customers to gather information regarding equipment issues and providing repair status updates while repairs are in progress, opening/processing work orders in an efficient and timely manner using thorough details on customer requests/complaints to ensure technician understanding and customer satisfaction. Seeking candidates with a minimum two years’ service-related experience; heavy equipment exposure. Working knowledge of function and repair of heavy construction equipment preferred. High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements for the SITECH Service Advisor position include:
- Working knowledge of function and repair of heavy construction equipment.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with stressful situations.
- Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task.
- Must have good attention to detail skills.
- Must be able to work in a high volume and fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Must be able to work any shift and additional hours as needed to meet customer and business needs.

Physical requirements must be met for the SITECH Service Advisor job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear.
