Job Description Summary:
The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for the movement of merchandise through the warehouse. Will maintain broad knowledge of entire warehouse function including inventory control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and returns.
Inventory Control includes conducting cycle counts and adjusting parts into the Parts Inventory computer system.
Shipping includes pulling parts orders from inventory and preparing them for shipping to customers or other Anderson branch locations. Receiving requires processing returns, evaluating condition, adjusting inventory.
Communication with the Service Department is a critical function to ensure technicians have correct parts for work orders.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Work Experience in Warehouse at Heavy Equipment, Auto, Parts dealerships;
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory controls, documentation, filling orders, shipping;
- Experience and ability to operate Forklift is a plus;
- Must be able to bend, stand, reach, lift, carry items in the warehouse;
- Focus on safety protocols must be maintained at all times.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation depends on location, experience/skills, overtime: $20.00-$24.00 per hour.
