What You’ll Do
You’ll assist with maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy mining equipment while learning from some of the most skilled techs in the business. This role involves travel to various customer job sites and offers real-world experience in the mining and equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy mining equipment
- Travel to off-site locations to perform service work
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery according to manufacturer specifications
- Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to perform inspections and adjustments
- Identify worn or damaged parts and assist with parts ordering
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, plumbing, and DC electrical repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members on job status
- Open, close, and process service work orders and related documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic office systems
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Physically able to lift over 50 lbs., work on uneven terrain, and operate heavy equipment
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in construction, mining, or mechanical work is a plus
- Familiarity with service manuals and diagnostic tools
Other Important Information
- Physical demands include lifting, climbing in and out of equipment, crouching, and working in prone positions under vehicles
- Work may occur in challenging environments, including rough terrain and construction zones
- Communication via phone, radio, and in-person required
