Holt CAT in Irving, Texas is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. A minimum of 3 years of experience on heavy construction equipment is required. 3yrs minimum of CAT experience. The hours of the position are Monday- Friday - 7 AM - 4 PM. Our address is 3131 State Highway 161, Suite A, Irving, Texas 75062. There is a sign on bonus is available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, HVAC systems, and electrical issues and repairs.
- Must have at least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, etc highly desired.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
- Diesel Technology Schooling preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
- Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
- Must be self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks promptly.
