E-Commerce Manager

Pay:$84,000 - $105,000/year(dependent on relevant experience)
Bonus: 10% bonus potential

Key Qualifications:

- 4-year college degree or applicable work experience with e-Commerce preferred
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office Applications / Must be adept at working with multiple integrated systems / Strong working knowledge of internet browsers and cloud-based systems
- Must possess ability to present information and respond to questions related to an online sale system
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
- Must have a clean and valid driver’s license (this position requires regular travel throughout H.O. Penn’s territory with occasional overnight stay)
- High Aptitude for learning new products and evaluating market trends and pricing
Responsibilities:
Financial stability through the successful sales of parts of recognized superior value using available eCommerce channels.
- Generate growth through eCommerce Parts sales
- Determine and fulfill customer needs
- Develop, plan, govern, and oversee strategic and tactical plans in conjunction with marketing and other department personnel to increase eCommerce user adoption
- Manage a portfolio of current eCommerce channels including, but not limited to Parts.Cat.com, Cat Integrated Procurement, and the Cat Central App.
- Develop long term prospecting & retentions plan for eCommerce customers across all platforms
Fast, accurate service and maximum efficiency, productivity, and profitability through the effective management of department operations.
- Continually monitor, measure and improve processes
- Forecast and budget resources to satisfy Company targets
- Develop and/or implement initiatives that support the profitable growth of the eCommerce business
- Ensure all marketing requirements are up to date and presented on all eCommerce platforms by continuously coordinating with marketing department
Enhanced digital experience for both internal and external customers.
- Work with the Parts Counter and other customer-facing personnel to demonstrate the features/benefits of our eCommerce channels, including conducting onsite customer demos and onboarding.
- Facilitate regular training sessions on new releases from the various Caterpillar eCommerce platforms, as well as leading training sessions for regular internal users.
- Provide an exceptional on-line inquiry and/or purchase customer experience by supporting and utilizing multiple communication channels such as live chat, email, phone, text messages, etc.
